GI tile-profile ridge (also called a ridge cap for GI tile-profile roofing sheets) is a pre-formed galvanized steel accessory used to cover the roof’s peak where two slopes meet. It matches the tile-profile shape of the main roofing sheets.
Material: GI (galvanized iron/steel), often with 0.30–0.50 mm thickness.
Coating: Zinc-coated; sometimes with paint or color coating (PPGI).
Length: Usually 8 ft.
Shape: Curved or angular to align with tile-profile waves.
Installation: Overlaps the roof sheets by 6–12 inches each side; fixed with self-drilling screws and washers.
